Thank you for visiting us at Snoring HQ. My journey to eliminate snoring from my life and get a better night’s sleep started for my wife’s benefit. It didn’t take long for me to understand the negative effect that snoring had on my health though.

I began considering many different anti-snoring products and gained a lot of insight on which ones work the best. I created Snoring HQ to help others in discovering the solution to their own snoring problems.

We love to hear from fellow snorers. We attempt to answer questions in 48 to 72 hours.

Snoring and Your Health

Fifty percent of the population snore at some point in their lives, with twenty percent of them doing so regularly. It can affect anyone, regardless of their age or gender. Almost everyone who snores does so due to a partial obstruction of your airway.

When you can’t breathe properly at night it negatively impacts your quality of sleep. You’ll get less oxygen and have trouble entering a deep, restful sleep state. Those with serious snoring problems can feel exhausted when waking up even after sleeping all night. Thankfully, there are a variety of anti-snoring products that can help you get back to sleeping through the night.

With such an enormous selection of anti-snoring products on the market, it can admittedly feel overwhelming when searching for the right one.

On this site, I have written reviews on every snoring product I could get my hands on. I’ve used my personal experience to provide you with advice, making it easier for you to make the best choice based on your own snoring habits.

I’m not a doctor, but I’m happy to give you the benefit of my own experience and let you know what worked for me and what didn’t.

How I Got Started

Like most people, I began by exploring a variety of common snoring devices like nasal strips, pillows, and head straps. I found that getting the right pillow was among the most important things you could do to reduce your snoring. After looking at a large number of these solutions, I turned my attention to different mouthpieces.

There discovered that there are two basic mouthpieces: Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs) and Tongue Retaining Devices (TRDs). Both are worn in your mouth and address snoring by limiting the obstruction to your airways.

TRDs are small and look like pacifiers. It works by pulling your tongue forward in your mouth as you sleep.

MADs are a little different, as it is a larger mouthpiece and sometimes referred to as a mouth guard. It looks kind of like an old mouth guard that you may be familiar with, assuming you played football or other sports in the past. Despite looking a bit intimidating, it’s actually very comfortable to wear. They’re consistently considered one of the most effective solutions for tackling snoring problems.

There are many reviews for the different TRD and MAD mouthpieces I have tried on the site.

I also discovered that mouthpieces are not the only solution to help you stop snoring. Nasal dilators, salt machines, and more have all been touted by various manufacturers as possible snoring cures.

You will find reviews on these devices on my website also.

The Truth of The Matter

We all snore differently, so keep in mind that a product working well for me doesn’t necessarily mean that it will work well for you.

It can be a process and take a little time to find the most effective solution.

Based on my experience and valuable input from experts on our team, I am sure there is an anti-snoring device suitable for you. The information here at Snoring HQ can, I hope, help you find the right one that works for you.
