MyPillow and the Casper pillow both promise better neck support. Neither has been tested for snoring in any trial we could find in Consensus and Paperguide searches, so we compared what each one is today and what the research does show.

MyPillow in 2026: What You Are Actually Buying
MyPillow now sells Classic and Premium bed pillows in standard, queen and king sizes, with fill levels such as medium, firm and most firm. The color-coded size system the old version of this post described is not how the listings we checked are organized.
The Classic Queen on Amazon has a 100% cotton cover, an adjustable loft, machine-washable care and a two-year manufacturer warranty. It holds 4.0 stars from 19,763 ratings.
Amazon prices we saw in October 2026 were about $29.98 for a single Classic standard and $44.98 for a standard set of two. A Classic queen set of two ran about $54.98, and a Premium queen combo set of two ran about $64.98, so check the current price before you buy.
MyPillow says its fill adjusts to your sleeping position and holds that shape through the night. That is the company’s claim, and we found no independent test of it.

The Casper Pillow in 2026: The Original Cooling Pillow
Casper now sells this pillow as the Original Cooling Pillow. It still uses a pillow-in-pillow design, with a softer inner pillow and a more supportive outer pillow.
The cover is a 50/50 cotton and TENCEL blend with a cooling coating on the underside. The fill is recycled down-alternative fiber, and the firmness is medium soft.
Casper lists the standard at $99 and the king at $149, and the standard showed $89.10 on sale when we checked in October 2026. It carries a 30-day return window and a one-year limited warranty.
Casper’s own page rates it 3.64 out of 5 from 61 reviews, and reviewers split on firmness, loft and cooling. The older claims about a billion fibers and a 100-day guarantee no longer appear on the current page.
It is also no longer a website-only product. Sleep Foundation’s Casper pillow review, last updated in January 2023, lists Amazon, Casper Sleep Shops, Target and Costco, so confirm stock before you drive anywhere.

Do Either of These Stop Snoring?
Pillows can reduce snoring, but the ones that work change your head position. In a randomized crossover study of 22 snorers, an anti-snoring pillow that shifts the head cut the measured snoring index (p = 0.03), and sleep apnea was ruled out first.
A separate study of 25 adults with positional sleep apnea found that a head-positioning pillow lowered the median snoring index from 218 to 115 events per hour over three nights.
A 2024 systematic review of positional therapy for snoring calls positional therapy and head-of-bed elevation reliable options. It also warns the evidence is small and mostly short-term.
A standard pillow like MyPillow or Casper does not move your head after you drift off. Expect comfort from them, not a quieter night.

What the MyPillow Settlement Really Said
The old version of this post called MyPillow the only pillow endorsed by the National Sleep Foundation. That is not accurate.
In November 2016, district attorneys from 10 California counties settled with MyPillow for about $995,000 in civil penalties, plus $100,000 for shelters, according to Consumer Reports. MyPillow admitted no wrongdoing.
The settlement also required MyPillow to stop calling itself the “official pillow” of the National Sleep Foundation, because it had not disclosed its financial connection to the group. The ads in question had suggested the pillows could help with conditions such as insomnia and sleep apnea.
How to Match a Pillow to Your Sleep Position
This is a rule of thumb, not a trial result. Back sleepers usually do better with a thinner pillow, and side sleepers need a thicker one to fill the space between shoulder and ear.
Stomach sleepers often prefer something very thin. If you are between sizes, an adjustable loft like MyPillow’s lets you test the height at home.
